Run aged receivable and payable reports
This guide covers how to view outstanding customer invoices and vendor bills grouped by how long they have been due.
Aged reports help you manage cash flow by showing which receivables and payables are current, overdue, or significantly past due. Amounts are broken into ageing buckets: Current (0-30), 31 - 60 Days, 61 - 90 Days, and 90+ Days, so you can quickly identify overdue balances and follow up accordingly.

Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between ageing by due date and invoice/document date? Ageing by Due Date groups amounts based on when payment is expected, which is useful for chasing overdue payments. Ageing by Invoice Date or Date of document groups amounts based on when the invoice or bill was originally created, which is useful for understanding how long a document has been in your system regardless of payment terms.
Why does a customer or vendor not appear in the report? Only customers or vendors with outstanding (unpaid) balances appear. If all invoices or bills for a contact have been fully paid, they will not be listed.
Can I export the aged receivables or payables report? The aged reports display data in a paginated grid. To share the data, you can use the browser's built-in print function or copy the information you need.
How is the Total Outstanding calculated? The Total Outstanding is the sum of the Current (0-30), 31 - 60 Days, 61 - 90 Days, and 90+ Days columns for each customer or vendor.
