Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between the General Ledger and the Detail General Ledger? The General Ledger shows aggregated totals per account (one row per account), while the Detail General Ledger breaks down each account into individual journal entries with running balances, opening balances, and closing balances.
What date range does the report default to? The report defaults to the current year (1 January to 31 December).
What currency are the amounts shown in? All amounts are displayed in your base (company) currency, regardless of the original transaction currency.
Why is an account missing from the report? If you have the account filter set to Accounts without zero balance or Accounts with transactions, accounts with no activity during the selected period will be hidden. Change the filter to All Accounts to see every account.
